There are six main face shapes, Round, Square, Oblong, Diamond, Triangular, and Oval.

If you're not sure what your shape is, you can use a tape measure to help. 

1. Forehead-- measure from the highest point of your left eyebrow arch to the highest point of your right eyebrow arch

2. Cheekbones--measure across upper cheeks from the bump beneath the outer corner of each eye.

3. Jawline--measure at its widest point, usually about and inch below your ears

4. Face length--measure from the center of your hairline to the tip of your chin

Round- Your cheekbones and face length are close to the same measurement. Larger than the jawline and forehead

Square- All the measurements are close to the same. Jaw angle is sharp

Diamond- Face length is the biggest number, then gets smaller as you go up--cheekbones, then forehead, with the smallest number being the jawline

Oblong- Face length is biggest, the rest are close to the same measurement

Oval- Face length is bigger than the the cheekbone width and forehead is bigger than the jawline. Jawline is more rounded

Triangular- Jawline is biggest, then cheekbones, the forehead being the smallest
